Hand-UP Grocery Pantry
The Hand-UP Grocery Pantry exists to support individuals and families in Northern Lancaster County who are experiencing food insecurity. At Community Hive, we believe every neighbor deserves the ability to make their own food choices. Our goal is to provide access to nutritious, diverse food options in an environment that prioritizes choice, respect, and a welcoming experience.
Transportation

Reliable transportation can make all the difference when it comes to accessing essential services and maintaining independence. Community Hive’s Transportation Services program helps connect individuals to the places they need to go—from medical appointments to everyday errands—through a dependable, door-to-door experience designed with care and flexibility in mind.
Our goal is to remove barriers and provide a safe, respectful way for neighbors to stay connected to their health, resources, and community.
Meals On Wheels
Community Hive is a Proud Member of Meals on Wheels
Community Hive’s Meals on Wheels program for the Ephrata and Cocalico communities is dedicated to helping neighbors maintain their independence, health, and dignity by delivering nutritious hot and cold meals each day—along with a friendly check-in and meaningful human connection. As a proud member of Meals on Wheels America, the program offers affordable daily meals, with options available for specialized dietary needs, and flexible support for those facing financial challenges. Individuals interested in receiving meals can connect with the program coordinator on weekday mornings, while community members looking to give back are encouraged to volunteer as reliable delivery drivers during the late morning hours. Whether you’re seeking support or hoping to serve, Meals on Wheels is a vital link that brings nourishment, safety, and connection right to the doorstep.

Community Support Services
Community Hive’s Community Support Services services are designed to help individuals and families across Northern Lancaster County move toward lasting stability. Through a personalized, case-by-case approach, the team connects neighbors with valuable community resources, educational opportunities, and targeted financial assistance based on income and level of need. More than short-term relief, the program focuses on building a sustainable path forward—often incorporating budgeting, savings, or other skill-building guidance. Those seeking support can begin by scheduling an appointment and bringing key documentation, where a staff member will walk alongside them to understand their situation and develop a practical plan for the future.
Housing

Community Hive’s Builders of Hope program offers transitional housing for families in the Ephrata and Cocalico School Districts, providing a supportive bridge toward long-term independence. This 6–12 month program places families in apartment-style housing while equipping them with essential tools for success, including budgeting guidance, case management, and one-on-one mentorship. With a focus on stability and self-sufficiency, participants are required to maintain employment as they work toward a stronger future. Families interested in learning more or applying can reach out to the program directly to begin the next step toward secure, independent living.
